A Religious Only Ceremony is a popular choice with those couples wanting to renew their wedding vows declaring your ever lasting love and devotion to each other, incorporating a religious component to your ceremony and as the ceremony is a non legal ceremony will pose no problems to your current legal marriage.

It is possible here in Bali for couples to partake in a religious only ceremony if they are of the Protestant (Christian), Catholic and Hindu and religions with the ceremony officiated by the relevant religious body according to the couple’s religion.  Please note that it is not possible here in Bali for a Moslem Religious Only Ceremony and only possible to have a legal Moslem Wedding Ceremony.

If set text is not relevant to your chosen ceremony type, then we will be able to provide you with various types of text for you to select from for your ceremony, with you being able to make such changes as, adding in a poem, or your own vow and ring exchange should you wish to personalize your ceremony, making the ceremony quite special and memorable to the both of you.

The religious ceremony is officiated by a representative of the couples chosen religious ceremony type and consists of the reading of your chosen religious text (if a choice is available) with duration of approximately 15 minutes, depending on the religious ceremony you choose and its’ content.  The ceremony will end with the seal of a kiss and the minister asking the groom, bride and two witnesses to come forward for signing of the wedding certificate.

As many couples would like to experience the culture and spirituality of a Balinese Ceremony it is also possible to have your formal Religious Only Ceremony first and then have a Balinese Blessing afterwards which will provide you with some insight into the local customs and culture that many foreign couples do not get to experience.
