
A hotel is a wonderful and popular choice as a location
for a ceremony, with most hotels offering a choice
of set locations for your ceremony to take place
at, such as beautifully manicured gardens with various
trees and plan’s with their colourful array
of flowers, or a tastefully decorated open air bale
over looking the beach (if it is a beach front property)
and are generally flexible should you choose a location
that they do not normally offer.
A hotel location would make an ideal choice if you
are considering incorporating a reception dinner
or function with your ceremony, having both celebrations
at the one location, saving your guests getting lost
or delayed especially considering the many ceremony
processions that occur here in Bali on a daily basis.
Ceremony location options are normally non private
and you will find other patrons at the hotel as keen
onlookers to your special celebration, but generally
do not intrude.
Couples normally choose a time of 4:00 or 5:00pm
for their ceremony to commence, being a much cooler
part of the day, but still providing you with enough
time and light to have formal and informal photos
taken prior to sunset at various locations around
the hotel. Should the hotel be a beach front property,
then a favorite of many couples is a short walk to
the beach for sunset shots for the magnificent backdrop
the beach provides.
Most hotels here in Bali have compulsory set up
and decoration packages should you wish to hold your
ceremony on their property. You will find set
up and decoration packages differ from hotel to hotel,
with prices differing for in-house and outside guests,
with some hotels not allowing ceremonies for outside
guests.

if you are unsure on a location, or you may like
to do a comparison on what the different hotels incorporate
in their set up and decoration packages.
Most couples like to incorporate music in their
ceremony, such as a meaningful song to the bride
and groom, or some light entertainment. Please note
that any music or entertainment you may be considering
is subject to the hotels approval and may attract
a fee depending on the type of music you choose.
Please note should you pick a special day such as
Christmas Day, New Years Eve or Day, the hotel may
impose special terms and conditions or additional
charges.
