
You will find hotels here in Bali to be well equipped
and experienced in coordinating such events as reception
dinners and functions, generally offering different
locations for you to select from such as beautifully
manicured garden area, open air or air conditioned
restaurants, beach front offering refreshing sea
breezes (if the hotel is a beach front property,)
with most locations being non-private to semi private.
If the hotel can provide a private location, a venue
fee may be imposed as this will be a special set
up with additional requirements, or require the blocking
off of a particular area that is normally available
to all hotel patrons, keeping it totally private
for you and your guests.
If you are also considering having a ceremony at
a hotel then this is an ideal location for both celebrations
to take place at, which will save transporting your
guests to a second location which can be time consuming
due to the road conditions here in Bali and does
save guests getting lost or delayed, due to unforeseen
circumstances such as the many ceremony processions
taking place here in Bali on a daily basis.
Normally hotels will offer a standard set up and
decoration for your reception dinner or function,
such as table flower arrangements, candles, the colour
of table clothes, napkins and chair covers etc.,
but again offer much flexibility for any changes,
inclusions or special requirements that you may have.
Generally hotels have various menus available, such
as canapés and cocktail menus, dinning menus
offering a la carte and buffet style, with many different
types of cuisine for you to select from. Please note
that dinning menu availability will also depend on
the amount of guests you will have attending your
celebration and the type of celebration you choose.
Drinks options such as, drink packages, glass by
glass packages and open bar are also generally available,
offering you flexibility on your food and beverage
components.
All music and entertainment options that you may
be considering for your function are subject to the
hotels approval and may attract a fee depending on
the type of music and entertainment you are considering.
Please also note that as the hotel must take into
consideration other guests, there will most likely
be a time that all music and entertainment must be
finished by.
